Duties:• Provide strategic guidance and provide support to business units in preparing, managing and reporting annual budget. Consolidate and report on monthly, quarterly and annual P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow plans for the SYX worldwide organization.
• Prepare variance analysis on key cost drivers in the organization upon identifying opportunities partner with the cost center owners to provide business advice and revise strategy to maximize the efficiency and profitability of the business.
• Develop enhanced reporting capabilities and procedures including ratio analysis, market share positioning, return on invested capital, competitive positioning metrics, and cash management and implement processes in the FP&A teams throughout the SYX Organization.
• Identify trends and developments in competitive environments by utilizing available market research tools including NPD, IDC, and other publically available reports and report on growth opportunities discovered.
• Perform key month end functions including project management oversight, cost allocation, journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and management discussion and analysis reports for the Systemax IT Solutions legal entity.
Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting and 1 - 2 years of experience.
• Strong computer & software skills; Advanced Excel and PowerPoint. SAP Experience a plus.
• Analytical, market research, statistical, competitive analysis, and ROI analysis skills.
• Ability to effectively multi-task, and manage competing priorities with tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills.
